Laught out LOUD

Welcome to the first edition of LAUGH OUT LOUD!!! Here I'll post jokes, both the good and the lame, and YOU get to post some jokes too! Under the COMMENTS section, that is, so that it stays there FOREVER (although I'm sure not everyone is going to listen to this instruction).

So for starters: here's a little contribution from someone, somewhere.
There was an old man who was travelling from Mexico to America on foot, he brought along a sack of sand and a bicycle.
When he reached the checkpoint, the officer searched his body, and then searched his sack of sand. He was a little suspicious about it but found nothing illegal inside, so he let the old man pass through.
For the next few years, the same old man passed through the border several times, bringing along a bicycle and the same sack of sand. The officers checking him would check his sack, his body, and sometimes would even dismantle his bicycle to check for illegal items. But all the old man had was that sack of sand and a bicycle.
Years later, the old man died, and his son opened a new bicycle shop in America, it turned out that his father was smuggling new bicycles across the border.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...some of you will feel chilly after a while. Let's take a look at this one, from deviant Rimfrost:

That's all for LOL this week, stay tune NEXT week when we have more lame and good jokes up this blog's sleeve! =D

115th Movement

Okay...I haven't been blogging much because of Christmas parties and DYNASTY WARRIORS SIX!!!

And this stupid blogger wouldn't upload my Korean photos...so you guys just have to ask for it manually... =D

Yesterday was yet another TOG's monthly performance...went well...handled lights and fixed the wings of the stage, finished it up with sai kang work. This is what you get when you miss three rehearsals because you're away in Korea...

I just hope I won't miss the next one....

Today is TOG outing...these three days I've been seeing a lot of TOG...not that I'm complaining...

Nasrin and Serena are asking me to meet up for the FYP...I will have to contact them soon...

114th Movement

It's CHRISTMAS!!! And the lights and decorations, food and drinks are all well put up and prepared! I know I haven't posted anything about Korea yet, but give me some time, there isn't much free space left on my laptop...

But just for a brief summary, the trip was great, except that the plane ride was quite rough. Total of 8 days, which includes 24 meals, and all 24 meals have KIMCHI!!! And on the last day, guess what we learnt to make? KIMCHI!!!

The places we visited were great too, oh wait, I've got to tell you this: there is a road in Korea called gui lu (literally Ghost Road), and it's an uphill road. But the weird thing is that we were on the bus, and the bus driver turned off his engine and all that so the bus would be dormant, but the whole bus was moving UPWARDS!!! A bottle left on the ground wouldn't roll downwards but upwards as well while water splashed on the floor doesn't trickle downhill but uphill. Why is it so? The tour guide told us it's because nature has us fooled, the uphill is actually a downhill but because of man's involvement on that mountain, illusions galore! So according to the great nature, we are wrong.

I'll have other things to post about Korea soon, like how freaky the toilets are =P CIAO!!! And a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

113th Movement

Everything went awfully crap today.

The process was good, but the result was unexpected.

I left her house with a knife wound, and when I was downstairs, a girl dropped her white ball and it rolled towards me.

When I passed it back to her, it felt like time froze, and in that instant, I felt like I was giving away something I had known all my life.

Perhaps it is a sign...or maybe I'm just paranoid.

And Joel...I'm serious about Black Dragon Fire Thunderbolt...I want to prove something through this band...

Nightwish...Nightwish...Nightwish...

111th Movement

Children's Drama workshop is finally over, and I learnt that I really suck with kids. The relationship I built with the kids in 3 days, Geraldine did it in 3 minutes, face it, I really can't handle children well. I'd rather stick to sai kang work or the tech-geek.

Not much to talk about, but the workshop turned out okay, although Geraldine mentioned that this was not our best, and that disbanding TOG was an idea she and Kevin had. I don't know, everything's changing so fast I can't catch up with it.

110th Movement

Sometimes we feel that people are so unreasonable that we lose sight of our goal.

I'm not targeting this at anything or anyone, it just came to me when I was sitting down playing DoTA with Edric, and it's not him I'm referring this to either.

Take for example, the game of DoTA. The objective of the game is to kill other heroes using what is given to you through the skills of your own hero and eventually winning the game by destroying the enemy headquarters. If Edric had been unreasonable and given me an uphill task, I would have gotten frustrated and probably ignore his future orders and go solo.

Going solo, of course, is nothing wrong, especially if you have the ability. But going solo with your eyes clouded with anger and revenge, nothing is going to work.

Putting our personal vendetta and issues over the greater good is definitely not going to work, most of us have to understand that getting to our goal is through hard work, diligence and of course, a clear mind.

109th Movement

I just need to get this off my chest.

It just disgusts me when guys just can't see that a girl cares for him and is being an emo shit because of him, like when he's sick and she says, "sorry I can't make you happy when you're sick" and he thinks she's picking a fight.

I mean, seriously, what the F**K (sorry) is that guy thinking? I mean, she's being caring and trying to find some sort of happinness in your suffering so that she can help you get your stupid mind of the illness. And you go, "are you trying to pick a fight with me?"

And it's not because the guy's an aethist and the girl's a Catholic, seriously, I think this should not even matter except in the future. Come on, I don't even think she even has the mentality to try and convert you just yet.

If I could see that guy (yes, I'm targeting this at someone but he ain't gonna read this) and meet him face to face, I swear I'll go for confession after I thrash him and deliver an RKO just to knock him out, period.

I'm sorry if this was a waste of post or offended anyone, but seriously...

Five Loaves and Two Fish - Corrinne May

A little boy of thirteen
was on his way to school
He heard a crowd of people laughing
and he went to take a look

Thousands were listening
to the stories of one man
He spoke with such wisdom
even the kids could understand

The hours passed so quickly
the day turned to night
Everyone was hungry
But there was no food in sight

The boy looked in his lunchbox
at the little that he had
He wasn't sure what good it'd do
there were thousands to be fed

But he saw the twinkling eyes of Jesus
the kindness in His smile
and the boy cried out
with the trust of a child
he said:

"Take my five loaves and two fishes
do with it as you will
I surrender
take my fears and inhibitions
all my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
To feed them all"

I often think about that boy
when I'm feeling small
and I worry that the work that I do
means nothing at all

But every single tear I cry
is a diamond in His hands
and every door that slams in my face
I will offer up in prayer

So I'll give you every breath I have
Oh Lord, You can work miracles
All that You need is my "Amen"

Take my five loaves and two fishes
do with it as you will
I surrender
take my fears and inhibitions
all my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
To feed them all

Take my five loaves and two fishes
do with it as you will
I surrender
take my fears and inhibitions
all my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
No gift is too small

Thank You...
