154th Movement

Hello,

I realised some of my blog posts are really quite EMO, but to clear the smoke...no I'm not. I'm just remembering good times so that my future would not seem so bleak. After all, I did really love her a lot. If you guys knew what I'd do for her and what I did for her, you'd know.

But life isn't always about that isn't it? Life isn't a destination, but rather a journey on which we are all together in, and we all walk the same path. Death, on the other hand, is a destination, and is the end for every journey no matter what road you take.

Life sometimes throws you lotsa things to bring you down, but it does that because it wants you to become stronger in every way. Just like how a mother and father would want their children to become strong men and women. This world is meant to prepare us for the next, in the eternal life.

I have to admit, moving on isn't easy, of course. Some of you know it's hard to get out of a vicious circle that'll bring you back to square one yet again. I'm incredibly saddened by people who get caught in it and yet I myself am caught in that circle.

Thanks for the memories.

153rd Movement

I remember you used to sit opposite me and play the oboe
I remember those practices with our dual solo in "To Challenge the Skies and Heavens Above"
I remember you waiting for me at the same place with a lunchbox of food
I remember you always forcing me to eat everything you made for me
I remember you trying so hard to grow that little plant just outside the field for your Geography Project
I remember you smiling everytime I made a seriously cold and lame joke
I remember we used to just sit down and listen to music while we waited for the sun to set
I remember you always made me speak chinese when we met
I remember you'd always lay your head on my lap and ask me to sing you to sleep even though many others said I couldn't sing
I remember you'd put your ear on my chest and tell me how irregular my heartbeat was
I remember you'd wait for me to kiss you on the lips before telling you "good night"
I remember how your mum told me you'd wait by the phone at the time I always called
I remembered how you cried when your friend's mum pass away
I remember how excited you were when I asked you out for our first date
I remember how you used to laugh at my many funny experiences
I remember you blushed when I first held your hand
I remember you tried to kiss me on our first date and failed
I remember how you blushed even more when I tricked you into kissing my lips

Ah, but it's all over now.

And I heard as it were the noise of thunder
One of the four beasts saying come and see and I saw
And behold a white horse

There's a man going around taking names
And he decides who to free and who to blame
Everybody won't be treated all the same
There'll be a golden ladder reaching down
When the Man comes around

The hairs on your arm will stand up
At the terror in each sip and in each sup
Will you partake of that last offered cup?
Or disappear into the potter's ground
When the Man comes around

Hear the trumpets, hear the pipers
One hundred million angels singing
Multitudes are marching to the big kettledrum
Voices calling, voices crying
Some are born and some are dying
It's Alpha and Omega's kingdom come

And the whirlwind is in the thorn tree
The virgins are all trimming their wicks
The whirlwind is in the thorn tree
It's hard for thee to kick against the pricks

Till Armageddon no shalam, no shalom
Then the father hen will call his chickens home
The wise man will bow down before the throne
And at His feet they'll cast their golden crowns
When the Man comes around

Whoever is unjust let him be unjust still
Whoever is righteous let him be righteous still
Whoever is filthy let him be filthy still
Listen to the words long written down
When the Man comes around

Hear the trumpets, hear the pipers
One hundred million angels singing
Multitudes are marching to the big kettledrum
Voices calling and voices crying
Some are born and some are dying
It's Alpha and Omega's kingdom come

And the whirlwind is in the thorn tree
The virgins are all trimming their wicks
The whirlwind is in the thorn tree
It's hard for thee to kick against the pricks

In measured hundred weight and penney pound
When the Man comes around

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts
And I looked and behold, a pale horse
And his name that sat on him was Death
And Hell followed with him.

Laugh out LOUD

Video of the day: Creature Comforts (actual audio with fake faces, see if you can guess the candidates!)

Text jokes:

1) Atoms have mass? I didn't know they were Catholic

2) Three convicts escaped a prison, and desperate with nowhere to go, they hid in a barn while the policeman chased them. One hid in a covered barrel, the other in a sack and the last guy in a stack of hay. The policeman walked into the barn, and noticing the barrel, tapped it. The convict promptly replied "meow meow", the policeman walked off to the stack of hay. He poked at the hay, and the convict responded, "woof woof", the policemanwalked off to the sack. He hit the sack and the convict, noticing what the others had done, replied, "potatoes potatoes".

3) A blonde walks over to a store, points at a product and says, "I want to buy that TV." The salesman replied, "sorry, we don't sell to blondes." The blonde becomes angry and goes off to dye her hair red, returns, points and repeats, "I want to buy that TV." With that the salesman says again, "sorry, we don't sell to blondes." The blonde, frustrated, goes for a complete makeover, so strong that her mother doesn't even recognize her, returns, points and says, "I want to buy that TV!" The salesman, frustrated, "WE DON'T SELL TO BLONDES!" The blonde gets frustrated, "I've went through so much, yet you still can see through my disguise! What did I do wrong?" The salesman sighs, "because, if you really wanted to buy a TV you wouldn't be pointing to that microwave."

152nd Movement

Aha, not long after the 151st...is the 152nd!

I'll be heading off to school later for a meeting...FYP meeting, I felt lazy to go at first in the morning but what the hell...just go and finish up the work. Unless something urgent crops up...

Oh, and I went to Ben and Jerry's for free ice cream! Went with Yahui, lined up for at least TWO hours just for TWO cones, Chocolate Macadamia and Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Not bad actually, after all, the ice cream costs FIVE dollars if bought.

And DOT, I'm still holding on to your Korea present and I can't give it to anyone else 'cause IT'S GOT YOUR NAME ON IT!

151st Movement

Aha, a new blog post after a good old video. I always loved that video, brings me joy everytime I watch it now.

Second day of school has been a good day, first day wasn't so bad. I spy with my little eyes a few nice guys and girls, hopefully the coming days would be better.

FYP meeting tomorrow, I kinda don't like FYP now, the passion's gone because it's so screwed up, not because of the team but because of the topic the school set for us. Not that I hate it, but I think I can do better in other areas.

But as always, we all just have to tahan our way through eh?

And oh yeah, finally soccer after three weeks!

A little updates...

SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW!!!

Yes, it sucks. But I kinda miss school, so...no worries eh?

Just watched TAKEN (starring Liam Neeson), it is a great movie to watch, it exceptionally moved me because well, I have two daughters and let's just keep it at that...

I won't blog so much, doesn't mean I'm quitting blogging. I'm just praying that my classes will be nice people with no backstabbing S.O.Bs.

So, yay.

Under the request from Liu Bei, Cao Cao sent Xiahou Dun to engage Gao Shun. Xiahou Dun, however, lost the battle, during which his left eye was struck by an arrow. After personally leading an army to defeat Lü Bu, Cao Cao compensated Xiahou Dun by promoting him to Jianwu General (建武將軍). He was said to have yanked the arrow fired by enemy general Cao Xing out of his eye and devoured his own eyeball to instill fear in his enemies.

Good Friday...

Why do they call it "Good" when you died so horribly for us?
Why is it called "Good" when love was crucified?

You gave your life for people you knew, but people who didn't love you. You gave your life for the past, present and future, and saved us from eternal damnation.

And yet here I sit, going through everyday, alone, ungrateful, as are many others. How does one repay such a sacrifice?

"For God so loved the world He gave His only Son, that whosoever knew believed in Him should not perish but would have everlasting life."

"For God did not send His son into the world to be its judge but to be its saviour."

"For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it."

Say the one you love is the only person you know in your life
Would it be love that pulls you to that person then?

Now say two people of the same opposite gender are the only people you know in your life
How would you choose which one to love?

Now, say you know no one in your life
Would you know what is love?

Being in NS isn't so bad
You shouldn't be feeling the least bit sad
And yet whenever the skies seem to gloom
The end of the world starts to loom

Dont't worry about the Sergeant
Or the Colonel, whichever comes first
Worry more about living
A life not of survival
But of principles

Hold fast and hold true
For the only thing that differentiates you from others
Are your morals and your principles

God be with you Shaz!.

Now seriously, I think I'm being an irritating fart to others.

You know, it's those times, where the person says it's all right, but you know something's terribly terribly wrong, and you know it's not the person saying that he/she is busy.

Maybe I'm sensitive, or it's just something all guys go through. But I can't help it, because as a matter of fact, I'm being irritated by the fact that people are finding me irritating. I know there's something wrong with me somewhere, but I just can't put my finger on it.

I so want to help, to be a good friend but it seems what's stopping me is not the other party, but myself.

And yeah, surely I'm wasting half my time at TOG, 'cause well, I'll never do what I love in there, ever. But what the hell, let me run my course first.

When life throws you lemons? Well, let it keep throwing lemons at you and after everything is done, throw it back and laugh.

Dear Sarah

Dear Sarah,

It has been some time since I saw you, and I am definitely missing you much. I long to see you smile genuinely again in the golden sun and hug you tight, never letting you go.

But unfortunately circumstances have forced me to be able to communicate through written words on paper, and I am terribly sorry for everything that I have failed to do for you.

But I certainly hope my letters will bring you the hope of being able to meet again, I pray that God will me to meet you and love you again. But for now, this will have to do, and there are certain things that worry me.

Like now, I have heard from your mother that you have been making hasty decisions without thinking most of the time. This worries me, and I wish to help you.

When making decisions, it is important to understand what you are doing and why you are doing it. When you are stuck on a situation, you must stop, think and pray. It is always best to choose the path which ends with love, for God is love, and His ultimate plan for us is love in all its forms.

When making a decision, you must not, and try to NEVER, hurt anyone. As a soldier, I was often taught that we cannot stop the damage from being done, but what we can do is to minimize the effects of it.

I want you to remember, Sarah, that we cannot help it when things happen to us, it is not up to us to decide what life throws in our face. What we can decide, however, is what to do in the time that is given to us.

God be with you,

What happened to Sarah? Remember some of you wrote how Sarah died and what happened to her...I'm here to continue the story to show the effects of your decision.

DOT's decision

DOT wrote: "she slit her wrists and left her blood to flow in the fields"

Effect: Sarah's death did not just end there, her father was convinced it was due to his absence that she died, and became saddened with depression. His wife hanged herself soon after Sarah's death, unable to take the impact. Sarah's father lived on to tell the tale, but even if he dies, the red tulips that were once yellow would be enough to tell the sad story of Sarah.

Shaz!'s decision:

Shaz! wrote: "Sarah faked her death & migrated to Russia to be an English teacher!"

Effect: Her parents never knew of her false death, her mother hanged herself soon after, convinced that she was dead. Her father continued to live on, but sadly and with a heavy heart. Sarah on the other hand, was alive, fine and well in Russia. She married a man, had two children and was blessed with a peaceful life. But life always has hard knocks, especially in Russia where hunky men are always looking for women...

Awright! Time for some of life's updates!

I've been stuck on Facebook, to the point that I'm doing more than 10 quizzes in 30 minutes! Shocking, isn't it?

And yes yes, I saw a girl at Church yesterday! Her name's Nicole, RCIY (so non-Catholic, on the way to baptism), probably around 18 years old and Brother Terence describes her as "not a holy person, but (I quote) has faith stronger than anyone." Heh heh, hint hint. It's hard to find a girl like that now.

Oh right, GUYS! There is "The Fallen Ones" play coming up on 9th April 2009, from 9.30pm to 11pm! Don't miss this chance to view the Passion through the eyes of two very important people in the Passion!
