132nd Movement

I remember I read something like this on my friend's blog:

If management=perfect, everyone=world peace, life=paradise
management=sucks, everyone=stressed, life=sucks

Okay, then he goes ahead to ask what the hell management means, or what it is. He's a good friend of mine so I'll try my best to answer.

Firstly, to correct his "theory", management can never be perfect (but I reckon that's why he put an IF in that line).
Secondly, the world would still not be at peace if management was perfect! Don't you see? That is what differentiates us from simple-minded animals (like the kangaroo).

If North Korea managed themselves well, turned democratic and lead the country to prosperity, some assholes in America will eventually start to think "they're trying to get richer so that they can build more atomic bombs and then turn communist again. It's all a big fat LIE."

And life is never a paradise even if management was perfect, you'd still be working and enjoying your family/friendship life and sooner or later, due to the human spirit, the spirit will break naturally.

The only way to be in paradise is for all of us to be trees, not talking, not feeling.

But coming back to the topic, what would management be now...

Management is a way of life, a lifestyle, a kind of process you go through in order to believe you are really organized and neat.

Management is a scam, how we "manage" our lives is already all printed out onto the newspapers and blasted onto the loudspeakers a week before election day.

We are all made to believe that by "managing" our lives, we can be a better person, a better nation.

True management comes in when you find out what you are supposed to be doing, you do not read the newspapers that say "50 minutes of yoga a week is good for you" and try to squeeze in that 50 minutes to become a part of your life...

What do you really want in life is the only thing to manage, some people want to be an artist, and from there they plan how they are going to be an artist from now until death (maybe not until death...so extreme), what kind of artistic sectors they want to be in etc. Everything they manage is only the arts and sticking to the arts as much as possible (because some events in life may have a mix, like arts and business).

And then what happens when something else we love comes into play? Let's take a girlfriend for example...how do you manage a girlfriend and your love for the arts?

First thing to do is PRIORITY, which is more important? Don't say "I don't know", which one are you willing to sacrifice for the other? Your mouth says "I don't know" but your heart tells the truth. Stop the "I'm confused" shit, get your mind straight.

Next on the list is ACTION, do what you set out to do, and finish the job, don't do half-past six work and don't say "another day". Finish what you started, end early and do whatever else you like in your list, not that hard to think of.

Of course, saying here is easier than doing it, trust me, I'm an expert at saying but not doing. I'm a lazy bastard but that's another topic for another day.
