55th Movement

You can learn a lot just by watching people, you don't even need to know what they're talking about.

And that's how I write good stories...or at least some of them.

Some of my juniors would ask me, "how did you manage to write 1200 words in less than an hour?" I know the Secondary School quota was 1000, but to hell with it, I said.

I told them my secrets, but they weren't really secrets, they were more of...technical skills.

Like, I always use characters I know, so I don't need to develop on their personality. Like once I used my brother and another friend as characters in a short narraration of mine (done in camp) and it worked out well. Of course, I would think how they would react to certain questions and situations but that would be easy if you knew the person well.

Next was the setting, I don't dare say much about it because I always see how my story went. I don't plan, by the way.

Development of story always comes naturally to me, I don't know how, but it does. I keep on writing, never stopping except for a minute water break or to pee. And in these breaks I don't think about the story at all, I just want to drink or pee.

It's a weird thing, like how different I am from the other "top" students in RJC or HCJC...I wouldn't compare to them, they have lots of "storyboarding" etc...

Personally, I don't believe in planning so far ahead, just come as it goes. =]

And that mindset has ended me up in RP...good or bad? Up to God to decide.

I went to see Father Kenny yesterday, and it was a refreshing talk. He said a lot of things about spiritual life. For example if the eyes of our heart were opened, we would see things in God's eye view, and not man.

Cool, huh? Of course, I presume that ability is only reserved for the super high holy-moley people. But who am I to judge?

Want to know my secret for everyday relaxation?
