49th Movement

I was just at the CBSS Symphonic Band Blog earlier, and I almost cried.

I mean, so much invested memories and effort in there, it's become like another limp, sticking out of the body and being there for the rest of your life.

I saw the new faces, and no one would ever know what had happened in the previous years. Even I don't remember much about Kelvin and Hui Shan's batch, let alone the batches before that.

But I guess that wasn't important, what is important is that those kids at the band learn to live for the present, not the past nor the future.

That's many students' problem, they think too much about the future. They should stop living for tomorrow and start living for NOW.

Chong Boon Band has come a long way, and it's time for me to cut that limp off.
