Good Friday...
Why do they call it "Good" when you died so horribly for us?
Why is it called "Good" when love was crucified?
You gave your life for people you knew, but people who didn't love you. You gave your life for the past, present and future, and saved us from eternal damnation.
And yet here I sit, going through everyday, alone, ungrateful, as are many others. How does one repay such a sacrifice?
"For God so loved the world He gave His only Son, that whosoever knew believed in Him should not perish but would have everlasting life."
"For God did not send His son into the world to be its judge but to be its saviour."
"For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it."
